This article is not meant to decertify the role of women in building society or in the overall growth of our world.
This article only aims to celebrate the role of men, their lives, and their achievements.
So, If you find that I’ve only talked about men in every part of this article, then it is because of the above-mentioned reason. Not because I’m a misogynist or I’ve patriarchal views.

International Men’s day
Every year, on 19th November, International Men’s Day is celebrated. Today, We’ll be talking about it and why we have such a day on our calendar. Why do we need it, and what significance does it have in our lives?
According to the official website, www.internationalmensday.com,
“International Men’s Day celebrates worldwide the positive value men bring to the world, their families and communities. We highlight positive role models and raise awareness of men’s well-being. One of the six pillars of International Men’s Day is to improve gender relations and promote gender equality not only for men but for women too.”
Let’s start our conversation with the very obvious and worldwide asked question.
Why do we need this day?
No, it’s not because we already had a women’s day and men thought that we were left behind.
In fact, it has nothing to do with women or any other day.
We have this day because, as men, we should celebrate our role in society, our contribution in bringing positivity to the world, our role in upbringing and nourishment of our family, and last but not least, our role in making this world a safe place for everyone.
What special does this International Men’s day have?
You see, each year we have themes during International Men’s day celebration. Last year the theme was better health for men and boys. This year the theme is to better the relationship between men and women.
As far as I can tell, this year’s theme is very carefully picked. After two waves of feminism and overhyped sensations caused by the media, the gap between the two genders grew rapidly.
If you think about it deeply enough, it is a big deal and it can cause big trouble. It can harm the upbringing of the children, their mental stability, and their career. In short, it can damage the future of the world.
Picking such a theme is a masterstroke because it will create a positive and bounding impact on both genders and bring them closer than ever.
Why should you be interested in IMD (International Men’s day)?
Being a man, it is your responsibility to raise your children in a way that they find it easy to cope with the outside world. Or to say the very least, they don’t find it frustrating when the world starts to throw shit at them, which it will, sooner or later.
You should be interested in IMD because teaching your children and the little ones around you is your primary duty.
I’ve read somewhere that ‘Toxic Masculinity is not the problem, lack of masculinity is’. This kinda stuck in my mind. As a man, you should be promoting masculinity in your peers. You should teach your kids how to be a man. How to behave like a man. How to be a problem solver.
IMD celebrates that responsibility and encourage men around the globe to be more positive with it and spread goodness while maintaining harmony with the opposite gender
A Bit of a personal opinion.
Before I say something, although it is just a sentence that I always wanted to say, I just want you to know that this is my personal opinion, and not agreeing to it is completely okay and within your rights. I’m not imposing it on you.
If you don’t fall for politics and agenda and remove their lens from your eyes, you’ll notice that there isn’t anything to fight about, whether you’re a man or a woman. Whether you’re a feminist or a male activist. The only people benefiting from gender wars are media houses and politicians.
Live in peace and harmony.
